I confess. I am absolutely obsessed with Measure & Make patterns. I mean really obsessed.
I think you will become obsessed too, once you have used one of these patterns. The options to customize the pattern to your own preference, is simply endless.
The grey garment on the left, was knitted with African Expressions Harmony on 4.5 mm needles. The green one in the middle was knitted with a chunky yarn on 6.00 mm needles. The stripey number on the right was a combination of superfine Kid Mohair and Merino Fingering on 5.00 needles. All from the same pattern. You see, that is the beauty, and the value for money in these patterns of mine. You can use the same pattern with any yarn, any size knitting pins, for any body size.
You can use the pattern as is, written with stocking stitch, or you can simply change it. There are no rules. I give you a blank canvas, and whatever you feel like knitting, you can do. Change the double rib at the edges to something different. Replace the stocking stitch with another stitch pattern. It’s yours to customize as you please.
