Therapy. Pure therapy. This is what this knit was to me. I love knitting cables. I love an i-cord finish. I love knit and purl stitch patterns to provide texture. And the best of all? The yarn. Oh my goodness, the yarn was heavenly.

The solo skein I used for this project was part of the loot I brought back from New Zealand. It is a lovely blend of 50% Merino, and 50% Silk. Luxurious doesn’t describe it properly. Happy-Go-Knitty is based in New Zealand and her entire range of yarns is extremely special. This one is named Kashi in colour Magenta Melody.
I knitted a second one in Alpaca Yarns Sox Easy Wash (the grey one). The stitch definition was not as crisp, as the yarn had a slight halo, but it is still cozy and beautiful.

The pattern is now available on Ravelry for only $3. What are you waiting for?

This is beautiful Hilda. Astonishingly, I also love knitting cables which I know and understand and can figure out. This is really pretty – personally I like the grey one!
