This is not a project you want to work on while in company. You must count, count and count again. Check your stitch count after each row; to find a mistake later will be impossible. If you should find yourself in the unfortunate position where your stitch count is incorrect, cheat to make it work. I won’t tell if you won’t tell. Just make sure your shawl lies flat when placed on a table. For your convenience, this pattern has tick boxes instead of bullet points.
You will need 600g Moya Shimmer in five contrasting colours:
- 150 g colour 1 (3 balls)
- 150 g colour 2 (3 balls)
- 100 g colour 3 (2 balls)
- 100 g colour 4 (2 balls)
- 100 g colour 5 (2 balls)
You will also need hooks in the following sizes:
- 5.0 mm crochet hook
- 6.0 mm crochet hook
If you want to use another yarn, use a hook bigger than what you normally would use for the chosen yarn. the pattern is quite dense, and you will lose the necessary drape if you use a regular hook.
