Description
This is a top-down seamless coat. It is a good way to use up leftovers, the brighter the better. And best of all, one doesn’t have to weave in too many tails, despite the colour changes – at the end everything is hidden in the button band.
For the best results, use no thicker than 4-ply (sock yarn), with a maximum hook size of 3.5 mm. Yarn that requires a larger hook will be too thick. The fibre content of the yarn is also important. Bamboo is heavy and should rather be avoided. Wool is elastic and should be used with care. Pure cotton is the best option for this project.
If you don’t want to use leftovers, kits are available from Colourspun.
