I don’t like repetition much and I can stand crocheting the same pattern stitch up and down the rows. I badly wanted to crochet my son a ripple afghan though. So, I decided on a ripple sampler! It took a lot of math and lot of frogging, but here it is.

Description

You have three sizes to choose from:

  • Small: about 1 x 1 m
  • Medium: about 1.5 x 1.5 m
  • Large: about 1.5 x 1.5 m

For the small afghan, you will need Moya Cotton DK in the following quantities:

  • Colour 1: 4 balls
  • Colour 2: 4 balls
  • Colour 3: 4 balls
  • Colour 4: 5 balls
  • Colour 5: 5 balls

For the medium afghan, you will need Moya Cotton DK in the following quantities:

  • Colour 1: 9 balls
  • Colour 2: 7 balls
  • Colour 3: 5 balls
  • Colour 4: 9 balls
  • Colour 5: 8 balls

For the large afghan, you will need Moya Cotton DK in the following quantities:

  • Colour 1: 13 balls
  • Colour 2: 10 balls
  • Colour 3: 10 balls
  • Colour 4: 10 balls
  • Colour 5: 15 balls

You will also need crochet hooks in the following sizes:

  • 3.5 mm
  • 4.0 mm
  • 5.0 mm
