Hat Trick

Description

This pattern is as easy as you can get it, suitable for newbie knitters. And what an impression you will make with this nifty little item. A beanie, ponytail beanie, and cowl, all in one!

You will need:

• 100 g light fingering yarn (400 m / 100 g)
• 3.5 mm circular knitting pins with a cable short enough to work in the round, or a cable long enough for magic loop
• 4.5 mm crochet hook
• 3 mm crochet hook
• 6 mm knitting pin
• 1 stitch marker to mark the beginning and the end of each round
• 2 groups of two stitch markers that look the same to assist with the construction (e.g., 2x blue and 2 red)

I strongly caution against a thicker yarn; you will not get the same effect.
